ABHAYA – Empowering Through Art & Healing
Driven by a passion for social healing and empowerment, Sandhya Manoj founded ABHAYA in Malaysia — an NGO platform created to support abused women and individuals through artistic expression.
ABHAYA brings together artists from diverse disciplines and creates opportunities for survivors and vulnerable individuals to explore and express themselves through art. The initiative focuses on emotional healing, confidence building, and talent development rather than conventional rehabilitation methods.
Individuals identified with exceptional artistic potential are further trained, mentored, and provided platforms to showcase their talents publicly, helping them transform trauma into creativity, empowerment, and self-reliance.
Through ABHAYA, Sandhya continues to advocate for compassionate social intervention, mental healing, and creative empowerment for marginalized communities.
